Quick and precise turning

Turning is the production process that is obtained by removing the shavings through the lathe, an instrument that acts with a motion mostly straight on the tool through a cutting part that penetrates into the metal and detaches the excess part to clean it. The tools available at C.PS. Centro Punte Sicilia guarantee high-quality work: the single piece is shaped in rotation to model it with millimeter precision, made possible by numerical control automatic lathes and specific instruments that are specialised for the desired metal portion.

In the milling process, the original piece is fixed while the so-called drills are moving; particular parts that are able to remove the excess material. For an excellent milling job, high precision is required that allows a good surface finish of the final product. Our machines all have a tolerance lower than one micron and are able to deliver metal workmanship of absolute quality – at extremely affordable prices.
